Great Southern Bank was proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the eighth annual Dance for Dravet, held Oct. 9 at Third Degree Glass Factory in St. Louis. The gala raised $1.2 million for the Dravet Syndrome Foundation, a new record for the event.

The Brennan and Odlaug families host Dance for Dravet in honor of Anna Odlaug, who lives with Dravet syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy that begins in infancy. This year’s event brought together more than 400 guests. The funds raised will support research, advocacy and programs for families. Part of the money will go toward Dravet syndrome research at Washington University in St. Louis.
