Important Information - Banking Center Consolidations


You may have heard or received a letter from us that your banking center will be consolidated into a nearby Great Southern Banking Center this September. We understand that you may have some questions and hopefully, we’ll address most of your questions below.

Q. When will my banking center close? 

A. Banking centers will close at the end of the business day on September 12, 2014.

Q. As a Great Southern customer, what will I need to do with my accounts? 

A. No action is required on your part. There will be no interruption in service—you’ll have access to your accounts at all times. Your account(s) will automatically transfer to the nearest Great Southern Bank. You can find what banking center your account(s) will transfer to in the chart below. You will also receive a letter notifying you of this information. 

Since your account numbers will remain the same, you can continue to use your current checks, loan payment coupons, debit card, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking services.

As a Great Southern customer, you can take care of your banking at any Great Southern Bank location in our network. You can also use our convenient Online Banking, Mobile Services and Telephone Banking to help you access depository and lending products and services.

Q. I have a safe deposit box at my banking center. What should I do? 

A. You will receive a letter from the Bank with information about your box. For now, it’s business as usual. 

Q. Can I do my banking at any Great Southern Bank? 

A. Yes. We can serve all of your banking needs at any of our 98 banking centers.
