Banking Center Consolidation - Customer Information
You may have heard or received a letter from us that your banking center will be consolidated into another Great Southern Banking Center in August. We understand that you may have some questions and hopefully, we’ll address most of your questions below.
Q. When will my banking center be consolidated?
A. The O'Fallon banking center will be consolidated at the end of the business day on August 19, 2016. The ATM at the consolidating banking center will remain operational.
Q. As a Great Southern customer, how will my accounts be affected?
A. Your accounts with Great Southern will not change. They will automatically transfer to the banking center listed in the chart below after the close of business on August 19. No action is required by you. An informational letter will be mailed to you during the week of May 16.
You can continue to use your current checks, loan payment coupons, debit card, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking services.
As a Great Southern customer, you can take care of your banking at any Great Southern Bank location in our six-state network. You can also use our convenient Online Banking, Mobile Banking services, Telephone Banking service and our website, www.GreatSouthernBank.com, to help you access depository and lending products and services.
Q. I have a safe deposit box at my banking center. What should I do?
A. You will receive a letter from the Bank with information about your box. For now, it’s business as usual.
Q. Can I do my banking at any Great Southern Bank?
A. Yes. We can serve all of your banking needs at any of our 105 banking centers.
