Summit Club members can now book most of the Summit Club trips online. Go to www.greatsoutherntravel.com. On the homepage, go to Vacation & Personal Travel. In the drop-down box, click on Great Southern Explorers. This page will show each trip that is escorted by the Summit Club. To view an informational trip flyer, go to “Click for Details.” Then, all you do to reserve your spot is go to “Reserve Now” and choose the most convenient way to pay a deposit or your complete trip price in full.

Seminars
The Summit Club keeps all members up-to-date on important topics of concern and provides an opportunity to learn about topics of interest like traveling through its newsletters and seminars. Each quarter Marvin McDaniel, host of KWTO's 560 AM "All About Travel," covers various destinations and aspects of traveling.

Social Events
Every year for 23 years, the Summit Club has hosted a free member appreciation party for all of our members. Last year's event was held on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts in Springfield, Mo. We brought in the Magnificent Variety Show direct from the Osmond Theatre in Branson, Mo. What a wonderful job they did as they performed for Summit Club members and their guests. Annually we host up to 2,000 members and their guests as they enjoy an afternoon of music, door prizes and getting to meet other members.
